Water resources data, Michigan, water year 1999

Water resources data for the 1999 water year for Michigan consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality of groundwater wells. This report contains discharge records for 145 streamflow-gaguig stations; stage only records for 2 stream-gaging stations and 25 lake-gaging stations; stage and contents for 1 reservoir; water-quality records for 26 streamflow-gaging stations and 1 lake-gaging station; and water-level records for 40 ground-water wells. Also included are 30 crest-stage partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various site? not involved in the systematic data-collection program. Miscellaneous data were collected at 53 discharge measuring sites. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State, local, and Federal agencies in Michigan.

Water resources data, Missouri, water year 2004

The U.S. Geological Survey, Missouri Water Science Center, in cooperation with local, State, and Federal agencies and organizations, obtains a large quantity of data pertaining to the water resources of Missouri each water year (October 1 to September 30). These data, accumulated during the water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of Missouri. Water-resources data for the 2004 water year for Missouri consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; elevation, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs. This volume contains discharge records for 174 gaging stations; elevation at 12 lakes and reservoirs; water quality at 108 sampling stations (including 2 lakes); data for 39 crest-stage stations; data for 6 water-quality partial-record stations; and water-level records for 8 ground-water monitoring wells.

Water resources data for Missouri, water year 1972

Water resources data for the 1972 water year for Missouri including records of streamflow or lake storage at gaging stations, partial-record stations, and selected springs, and records of water-quality data on the chemical and physical characteristics of surface and ground water, are given in this report. In Part 1, records are included for 157 gaging stations of which 150 are streamflow discharge stations, and 7 are lake stations; also are included records for 104 crest-stage partial-record stations. Locations of gaging stations are shown in Figure 1. In Part 2, data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as weekly, monthly, or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 30-, or 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 84 sampling stations of which 25 are partial-record stations and 5 are miscellaneous sites. Locations of water-quality stations are shown in Figure 2. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included in this report. The records were collected and computed by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of Anthony Homyk, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Missouri.

Water resources data for Missouri, water year 1974

Water resources data for the 1974 water year for Missouri including records of streamflow or reservoir storage at gaging stations, partial-record stations, and miscellaneous sites, and records of water-quality data on the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water, are given in this report. In Part 1, records are included for 144 gaging stations of which 137 are streamflow discharge stations, and 7 are reservoir or lake stations; also included are records for 105 crest-stage partial-record stations, and miscellaneous sites. Locations of gaging stations are shown in figure1. In Part 2, water-quality data on chemical, physical, and biological characteristics of surface water were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 15-, 30-, or 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 108 sampling stations of which 53 are continuous record stations, 30 are partial-record stations, and 25 are miscellaneous sampling sites. Locations of water-quality stations are shown in figure 1. A few pertinent stations in bordering states are also included in this report. The records were collected and computed by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of Anthony Homyk, district chief. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Missouri.

Water resources data for Mississippi, water year 1971

Water resources data for the 1971 water year for Mississippi including records of streamflow or reservoir storage at gaging stations, partial-record stations, and miscellaneous sites, and records of water-quality data on the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water, are given in this report. In Part 1, records are included for 71 gaging stations of which 67 are streamflow discharge stations, and 4 are reservoir or lake stations; also are included records for 27 low-flow partial-record stations, 143 crest-stage partial-record stations, and 91 miscellaneous sites. Locations of gaging stations are shown in Figure 1. In Part 2, data on the quality of surface water (chemical and temperature) were collected from designated sampling sites at pre-determined intervals such as monthly, or less frequently, and at one site data were recorded on punched paper tape at 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 55 sampling stations of which 5 are continuous record stations, 26 are partial-record stations, and 3 are miscellaneous sites. Locations of water-quality stations are shown in Figure 1. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included in this report. The records were collected and computed by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of L. E. Carroon, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Mississippi.

Water resources data, Montana, water year 2001

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with other Federal, State, and local agencies, and Tribal governments, collects a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of Montana each water year. These data, accumulated over many years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. To make these data readily available to interested parties outside the USGS, the data are published annually, by water year, in this report series entitled, "Water Resources Data, Montana."

Water resources data for Montana, water year 1972; part 2, water quality records

Water resources data for the 1972 water year for Montana include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly or less frequently. Records for a few pertinent water-quality stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of George M. Pike, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Montana. The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, suspended sediment, and water temperatures since 1941 in an annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water-quality records also have been re-leased by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State-boundary basis. Distribution of these reports is limited; they are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year to meet local needs. These records will be published later in Geological Survey water-supply papers.

Water resources data for Montana, water year 1976

Water resources data for the 1976 water year for Montana consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water-levels of wells. This report contains discharge records for 217 gaging stations; stage only records for 1 lake station; stage and contents for 9 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 61 gaging stations, 43 water-quality stations, and 4 lake stations; and water levels for 25 observation wells. Also included are data for 205 crest-stage partial-record stations and 53 smaller reservoirs. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not involved in the systematic data collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included in this report; however, numerous stations in Canada operated for the International Joint Commission under cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of State are included in the above. Locations of gaging stations are shown on figure 3, ground-water observation wells are shown on figure 4, and water-quality stations are shown on figure 4. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Montana.
