Water resources data for the 2002 water year for Alaska consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stages of lakes; and water levels and water quality of ground water. This volume contains records for water discharge at 109 gaging stations; stage or contents only at 5 gaging stations; water quality at 26 gaging stations; and water levels for 45 observation wells. Also included are data for 32 crest-stage partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites not involved in the systematic data-collection program and are published as miscellaneous measurements and analyses. Some data collected during 2002 will be published in subsequent reports. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Alaska.

Water resources data, Arkansas, 2003

The Water Resources Discipline of the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with State, Federal, and other local governmental agencies, obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of Arkansas each year. These data, accumulated during many water years, constitute a valuable database for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. Water resources data reported for the 2003 water year for Arkansas consist of records of discharge and water quality (physical measurements and chemical concentrations) of streams, water quality of lakes, and ground-water levels and ground-water quality. Data from selected sites in Louisiana, Missouri and Oklahoma also are included. This report contains daily discharge records for 108 surface-water gaging stations, 76 peak-discharge partial-record stations, 9 stage-only stations, water-quality data for 73 surfacewater stations and 17 wells, and water levels for 15 observation wells. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements.

Water resources data, Arkansas, 2004

The U.S. Geological Survey Arkansas Water Science Center, in cooperation with State, Federal, and other local governmental agencies, obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of Arkansas each year. These data, accumulated during many water years, constitute a valuable database for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. Water resources data reported for the 2004 water year for Arkansas consist of records of discharge and water quality (physical measurements and chemical concentrations) of streams, water quality of lakes, and ground-water levels and ground-water quality. Data from selected sites in Louisiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma also are included. This report contains daily discharge records for 104 surface-water gaging stations, 82 peak-discharge partial-record stations, 8 stage-only stations, water-quality data for 79 surface-water stations and 16 wells, and water levels for 47 observation wells. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements.

Water resources data for Arizona, water year 1972

Water resources data for the 1972 water year for Arizona include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals, such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently; at some sites, data were collected continuously by means of automatic recording devices . Records are given for 77 sampling stations, of which 46 are continuous record stations, 8 are partial-record stations, and 23 are miscellaneous sampling stations. Locations of surface water-quality stations are shown in figures 1 and 2. A few pertinent stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of H. M. Babcock, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected bythe U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Arizona. The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, water temperatures, and sediment since 1941 in an annual s eries of water-supply papers entitled, ''Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water - quality records have been released by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State boundary basis. These reports are for limited distribution and are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year. These records will be published later in Geological Survey water-supply papers.

Water resources data for Arizona, water year 1973: Part 2. Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1973 water year for Arizona include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals, such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently; at some sites, data were collected continuously by means of automatic recording devices. Records are given for 81 sampling stations, of which 48 are continuous record stations, 6 are partial-record stations, and 27 are miscellaneous sampling stations. Locations of surface water-quality stations are shown in figures 1 and 2. A few pertinent stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of H. M. Babcock, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U. S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Arizona. The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, water temperatures, and sediment since 1941 in an annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water-quality records have been released by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State boundary basis. These reports are for limited distribution and are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year. Water resources data for California, 1974; Part 2: Water quality records

Water-resources data for the 1974 water year for California include records of data for the chemical, physical, and biological characteristics of surface and ground water. These data were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 15-, 30-, or 6O-minute intervals. The distribution, type, and number of stations in each river or drainage basin are shown in figure 1. A few pertinent stations in bordering States are also included. The records were compiled by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of Lee R. Peterson, district chief. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in California.The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, water temperatures, and sediment since 1941 in an annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States."
