Water resources data Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C., water year 2005, Volume 2. Ground-water data

Water resources data for the 2005 water year for Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. consist of records of water levels and water quality of ground-water wells. This report (Volume 2. Ground-Water Data) contains water levels at 352 observation wells, discharge records for 4 springs, and water quality at 118 wells. Locations of ground-water level wells are shown on figures 6 and 7. Locations of groundwater- quality sites are shown on figure 8. The data in this report represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State, local, and Federal agencies in Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.

Water resources data, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C., water year 1998, volume 2. ground-water data

Water resources data for the 1998 water year for Maryland and Delaware consist of records of water levels and water quality of ground-water wells. This report (Volume 2. Ground-Water Data) contains water levels at 393 observation wells, discharge records for 6 springs and water quality at 290 wells and 23 streambed piezometers. Locations of ground-water level wells are shown on figures 5 and 6. Locations of ground-water-quality sites are shown on figure 7. The data in this report represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State, local, and Federal agencies in Maryland and Delaware.

Specifically, it contains: (1) Discharge records for 90 streamflow-gaging stations, stage records for 18 of these gaging stations, discharge records for 97 partial-record stations or miscellaneous streamflow sites, including 6 flood hydrograph partial-record stations, 91 crest-stage partial-record stations and 0 special study and miscellaneous sites; (2) stage only at 1 gaging station; (3) water-quality records for 12 streamflow-gaging stations, 0 stage-only stations, 13 water-quality monitor stations, 0 partial-record stations or miscellaneous sites, 0 short-term study sites, and 26 wells; and (4) water-level records for 19 observation wells. Records obtained from water-resources investigations are also included in special sections of the report. Records included for stream stages are only a small fraction of those obtained during the water year.

The U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, in cooperation with local, State, and Federal agencies and organizations, obtains a large quantity of data pertaining to the water resources of Missouri each water year (October 1 to September 30). These data, accumulated during the water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of Missouri. Water-resources data for the 2002 water year for Missouri consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; elevation, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs. This volume contains discharge records for 172 gaging stations; elevation at 12 lakes and reservoirs; water quality at 113 sampling stations (including 2 lakes); and data for 39 crest-stage stations.

Water-resources data for the 1994 water year for Missouri consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and ground-water levels. This volume contains discharge records for 102 gaging stations; stage at 12 lakes and reservoirs; water quality at 54 sampling stations (including 2 lakes and reservoirs); and water-level records for 8 ground-water monitoring wells.

This volume contains discharge records for 106 gaging stations; stage at 12 lakes and reservoirs; water quality at 53 sampling stations (including 2 lakes and reservoirs); and water-level records for 8 ground-water monitoring wells.

These data, accumulated during the many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. Water-resources data for the 1993 water year for Maine consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage and contents of lakes and reservoirs; water levels of ground-water wells; and precipitation amounts at selected sites. This report contains discharge records for 47 gaging stations, stage records for 1 lake; month-end contents for 17 lakes and reservoirs; water-quality data for 12 gaging stations; water levels for 30 ground-water wells; and daily precipitation totals at 1 site. Additional water data were collected at other sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements.

These data, accumulated during the many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the State. Water-resources data for the 1994 water year for Maine consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage and contents of lakes and reservoirs; water levels of ground-water wells; and precipitation amounts at selected sites. This report contains discharge records for 48 gaging stations, stage records for 1 lake; month-end contents for 15 lakes and reservoirs; water-quality data for 14 gaging stations; water levels for 31 ground-water wells; and daily precipitation totals at 1 site. Additional water data were collected at other sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements.
