Water resources data for Washington, water year 1974; Part 2, Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1974 water year for Washington include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface and ground water. Water-quality data on chemical, physical, and biological characteristics of surface and ground water were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 15-, 30-, or 60 minute intervals. Records are given for 157 sampling stations of which 149 are continuous record stations and 8 are miscellaneous sites. Records of chemical analyses also are given for 19 ground-water sites. Locations of the continuous-record sampling stations are shown in figure 1. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of L. B. Laird, district chief. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Washington.

Washington

Water resources data for Washington, water year 1973; Part 2, Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1973 water year for Washington include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly or less frequently. Records are given for 363 sampling stations of which 181 are continuous record stations and 182 are partial-record stations. Locations of the continuous-record sampling stations are shown in figure 1. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of L. B. Laird, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Washington.

Washington

Water resources data, Nevada, water year 1992

This report for Nevada is one of a series of annual reports that document hydrologic data gathered from the U.S. Geological Survey's surface-water and ground-water data-collection networks in each State, Puerto Rico, and the Trust Territories. These records of streams, canals, drains and springs, lakes and reservoirs, and observation wells provide the hydrologic information needed by State, local, and Federal agencies and the private sector for developing and managing our Nation's land and water resources.

Nevada

Water resources data for Michigan, water year 1974; Part 2, Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1974 water year for Michigan include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface and ground waters. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once-daily, weekly, monthly or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 280 sampling stations, of which 46 are continuous-record stations, 195 are partial-record stations, and 39 are miscellaneous sites. Records of chemical analyses also are given for 30 ground-water sites. Location of surface-water quality stations are shown in Figures 1 and 2. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of T. R. Cummings, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Michigan. The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, water temperatures, and sediment since 1941 in an annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water-quality records have been released by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State-boundary basis. These reports are for limited distribution and are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year. These records will be published later in Geological Survey water-supply papers.

Water Resources Data, Maine, Water Year 2000

This volume of the annual hydrologic data report of Maine is one of a series of annual reports that document data gathered from the U.S. Geological Survey's surface- and ground-water data-collection networks in each State, Puerto Rico, and the Trust Territories. These records of streamflow, ground-water levels, and quality of water provide the hydrologic information needed by State, local, and Federal agencies, and the private sector for developing and managing our Nation's land and water resources.

Maine

Water resources data for Colorado, water year 2003; Volume 2. Colorado River basin

Water-resources data for Colorado for water year 2003 consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water-quality of lakes and reservoirs; meteorological data; and water levels and water quality of wells and springs. This report (volumes 1 and 2) contains discharge records for 329 gaging stations, stage and contents of 19 lakes and reservoirs, discharge measurements for 1 partial-record low-flow station and 1 miscellaneous site, peak-flow information for 23 crest-stage partial-record stations, water-quality data for 128 gaging stations and 8 lakes and reservoirs, supplemental water-quality data for 182 gaged sites, water-quality data for 61 miscellaneous sites and 15 observation wells, water levels for 3 observation wells; and meteorological data for 62 sites. Three pertinent stations operated by bordering States also are included in this report. The records were collected and computed by the Water Resources Discipline of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of W.F. Horak, District Chief. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and by cooperating State and Federal agencies.

Water resources data for Kansas, water year 1973; Part 2, Water quality records

Water-resources data for the 1973 water year for Kansas include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface and ground water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, microbiological, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 70 sampling stations of which 7 are partial-record stations, and for 51 miscellaneous sites. Miscellaneous temperatures of streamflow are given for 77 gaging stations, and records of chemical analyses are given for 224 ground-water sites. Locations of surface water-quality stations are shown in Figure 1, page 2. Records for pertinent water-quality stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of C. W. Lane, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Kansas. Kansas District personnel who contributed significantly to the collection and preparation of data included in this report were: B. L. Day, L. R. Shelton, M. L. Penny, L. R. Stringer, and D. J. Dark (Kansas State Department of Health). The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, suspended sediment, and water temperatures since 1941 in annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water-quality records also have been released by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State-boundary basis. Distribution of these reports is limited; they are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year to meet local needs. Kansas

Water resources data for Kansas, water year 1971; Part 2, Water quality records

Water-resources data for the 1971 water year for Kansas include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface and ground water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, microbiological, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently. Records are given for 66 sampling stations of which 9 are partial-record stations, and 52 are miscellaneous sites. Records of chemical analyses are given for 46 ground-water sites. Locations of surface water-quality stations are shown in Figure 1, page 2. Records for pertinent water-quality stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of C. W. Lane, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Kansas. Kansas

Water resources data for Florida water year 2004volume 1A. northeast Florida surface water

Water resources data for the 2004 water year in Florida consist of continuous or daily discharge for 405 streams, periodic discharge for 12 streams, continuous or daily stage for 159 streams, periodic stage for 19 streams, peak stage and discharge for 30 streams; continuous or daily elevations for 14 lakes, periodic elevations for 23 lakes; continuous ground-water levels for 408 wells, periodic ground-water levels for 1,157 wells; quality-of-water data for 140 surface-water sites and 239 wells. The data for northeast Florida include continuous or daily discharge for 140 streams, periodic discharge for 4 streams, continuous or daily stage for 58 streams, periodic stage for 3 streams; peak stage and discharge for 0 streams; continuous or daily elevations for 10 lakes, periodic elevations for 20 lakes; continuous ground water levels for 50 wells, periodic ground-water levels for 522 wells; quality-of-water data for 40 surface-water sites and 66 wells. These data represent the National Water Data System records collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating local, State and Federal agencies in Florida.
