Water resources data for Michigan, water year 1978

Abstract

Water resources data for the 1978 water year for Michigan consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water temperature of ground water. This report contains discharge records for 187 gaging stations; stage only records for 1 gaging station; stage and contents for 5 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 65 continuous-record stations and 6 lakes; and water levels for 45 observation wells. Also included are 93 crest-stage partial-record stations and 18 low-flow partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not part of the systematic data-collection program, and are published as miscella- neous measurements. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Michigan.

Water Resources Data, Pennsylvania, Water Year 2005, Volume 2. Susquehanna and Potomac River Basins

Water resources data for the 2005 water year for Pennsylvania consist of records of discharge and water quality of streams; contents and elevations of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality of ground-water wells. This report, Volume 2 contains (1) discharge records for 89 continuous-record streamflow-gaging stations, 13 partial-record stations, 23 special study and miscellaneous streamflow sites; (2) elevation and contents for 12 lakes and reservoirs, and water-quality records for 12 lakes and reservoirs; (3) water-quality records for 33 gaging stations and 68 ungaged streamsites; (4) water-level records for 40 network observation wells; and (5) water-quality analyses at 35 special study ground-water wells. Site locations are shown in figures throughout the report. Additional water data collected at various sites not involved in the systematic data-collection program are also presented. These data together with the data in Volumes 1 and 3, represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State, local, and Federal agencies in Pennsylvania.

Water-resources data for the United States: water year 2012

Water resources data are published annually for use by engineers, scientists, managers, educators, and the general public. These archival products supplement direct access to current and historical water data provided by NWISWeb. Beginning with Water Year 2006, annual water data reports are available as individual electronic Site Data Sheets for the entire Nation for retrieval, download, and localized printing on demand. National distribution includes tabular and map interfaces for search, query, display and download of data. From 1962 until 2005, reports were published by State as paper documents, although most reports since the mid-1990s are also available in electronic form through this web page. Reports prior to 1962 were published in occasional USGS Water-Supply Papers and other reports.
